Our Story
La Tavola was born in 1987 when Rosa and Heinrich Brandl turned a former bakery on Mariahilfer Straße into a ten-table trattoria. They believed good food needed no theatre — just the best ingredients, treated with patience.
Today their son Stefan leads the kitchen. The menu has evolved; the philosophy hasn't.
